International Shipping Rates

To find out the delivery period for your order, please note the availability of the item and shipping method chosen to calculate your total delivery period. The following formula will help :

(Availability) + (Shipping) = Total shipping period

For example, most items from our site are shipped within 48 hours. If you have chosen airmail, then delivery period will be between 7 to 21 working days depending on where you live. This means that you should receive your order 2 days (availability) + 4 to 21 days (shipping). Total time is therefore 6 to 23 days for your shipment to arrive from date of order.

Notes on shipping: Orders containing only books are shipped with one side open due to customs restrictions for printed matter. The shipping period depends on where you live. For both yours and our security all our shipments are sent by registered mail. To Europe by surface mail and to overseas countries by airmail.

Shipping periods, in general, are as follows:
European countries: 4-7 working days.
United States and Canada: 7-14 working days.
Africa, Asia, Central and South America, Australia: 10-21 working days.

Ordering items with different availability  

  • "Please wait until each item in the order is ready."
If you select this option in your order form, we will wait until all the items of your order are ready, and then send it to your mailing address. For example, it could happen that you order a book that is labeled as "Sold Out", together with some other items. We can wait until we find the book you ordered, and send everything together to you.
  • "Please send each item as it becomes available."
By selecting this option in your order form, you tell us to send you items separately as each of them becomes available (of course if they are items that are not easy to get in two or three days). Your shipping expenses are larger in this case, but we want you to get the items you ordered as soon as possible.
  • Sold out and used items
Every out-of-print in your order form will be automatically sent right away, even if you choose the option "Please wait until each item in the order is ready."

Customs information

You may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you, we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, you should contact your local customs office for further information.

If the order is a gift, the package is marked "Gift", but the cost of the item is still stated on the customs form. Customs authorities require us to state the value of the gift item directly on the package.
